SWITCHES

to tell the truth, i didnt realize that electricity had anything to do with physics. but apparently it does so ill write about it. alrighty theres this light switch in my house which turns on the upstairs hall light as well as the living room area light. and then upstairs i have this switch that turns on the upstairs hall light only. i think its called a two-way switch. in order for this switch to work, it must be connected by a circuit. the power source, light switch, and light bulb are a part of this circuit. the end.

LIGHT FIXTURES

the only thing i could think of to write for this blog was the dining table light fixture thing. when i flipped on the switch to light the room the lightbulb went on. cool yeah? yeppp :) so now to the physics part. in order for the bulb to light up, an electric circuit must be in place. we can tell that an electric circuit has been established when the charge flows through the filament causing it to light up. the current flows from the power source to the light bulb. we can measure this current in amperes by dividing the charge passing through the surface, q, by the elapsed time, t.
